Low-Light Handgun: 4 Hours, $150
Not all encounters occur during the day or in a brightly-lit interior. This four hour course will familiarize students with the unique challenges presented in low-light or flashlight-illuminated shooting scenarios and will involve real-world scenarios using ambient light, flashlights, and cover and concealment. Students will need to have completed the NRA Basic Pistol class or pre-class skills evaluation and should bring ammunition, weapon, spare magazines or speedloaders, holster, and hand-held flashlight. Weapon-mounted lights are allowed, but the student should also bring a hand-held light. Students can expect to shoot between 100 to 150 rounds.

Advanced Concealed Carry: 12 Hours, $250
This class is designed to go beyond the NRA Inside and Outside the Home classes and is divided into two parts. The first session is three hours and consists of a detailed look at concealed carry and firearms laws, holster and weapon selection, firearms retention, and physiological and psychological factors that influence an armed encounter. The second, 8 hour session will involve a number of range exercises to familiarize the student with shooting from a concealed holster, shoot/don't shoot scenarios, and commonly found but unorthodox shooting positions. Students will need to have passed the NRA Basic Pistol class or a pre-class skill evaluation and should bring a concealment holster, light jacket, ammunition, and weapon and spare magazines or speedloaders. Students can expect to shoot between 200 and 250 rounds.

Advanced Handgun Tactics Level I: 8 Hours, $250
Advanced Handgun Tactics Levels I and II is an intuitive shooting program designed to help the student become a more efficient shooter in the context of a dynamic critical incident. This is not a marksmanship course, nor is it designed to accentuate skills that only work well on a square range in front of paper targets. Instead, it is based on the study of empirical evidence from real violent encounters and builds on the body's natural reaction to an attack.
Level I is an 8 hour session that will cover the concepts of human reaction time, fast drawing from the holster, and reloading techniques under stress. It is an intensive, fast paced course built upon repetition to build muscle memory reactions. Shooters should bring ammunition, holster, spare magazines or speedloaders, and weapon. Students will need to have passed the NRA Basic Pistol class or a pre-class skill evaluation and should expect to shoot between 800 and 1000 rounds.

Advanced Handgun Tactics Level II: 8 Hours, $250
Level II is an 8 hour session building upon the skill learned in Level I and incorporating one-handed operation of the firearm, effective utilization of barricades and cover, movement, and unorthodox and unusual shooting positions that a person in an armed confrontation might encounter. This is a fast paced course built upon repetition, and shooters must have passed the Level I course. Shooters should bring ammunition, holster, spare magazines or speedloaders, and weapon. Students should expect to shoot between 800 and 1000 rounds. |
